    Bali...... Bali..... Bali.....

Just got home last night but didn't have the time to update. Didn't hit the watersport, didn't wan to stay in the sun for too long especially just recovered from illness. Probably next time, if i go there again........ Photos will be up shortly.....

    27 May :
Reached airport @ 7am, didn't really enjoyed the whole day as the body was still recovering from the fever and was having abit of running nose. The flight there was pretty alright, took about 2hours before reaching the hotel about 12.30pm. Stayed for a while for the briefing then we went for lunch at the hotel,.... man.... the food were awful!!....

Went off to Kuta Beach; the area where the Bali bombing occurred. We didn't found the place where the bomb went off but the area was crowded with tourists... no wonder they targetted the area. Went to the beach, it was crowded, shopped around and found a go-kart circuit, sped in the circuit for 10mins. The circuit was small, but it was really fun. Had a good time there before heading back to the hotel. Didn't bought much things, just some souvenirs for some of my friends.

Joined my colleagues for dinner at [The Living Room], recommended by my dept head, it is a restaurant with a very nice ambience, i think it would be a lovely place for dinner with someone special. After dinner, we went for a drink. Our MD and some others staffs joined us, wasn't the best pubs, but the drinks were just too much. (Maybe much worse as compared to our clubbing nights).

    28 May :
Went on a sightseeing trip with another group of colleagues, the first hour was bad. Trying to get sober, cos of the previous night alcohol was still in the body. After getting past that, it was much better. Started off at some Monkey Forest, then off to some old Bali palace, then stop over the terrace padi fields, then we were off to some place to view the volcano and at the same time stopover for lunch.

At this point of time, my camera batteries was going flat, so i went to a nearby shop to buy, the price they quoted was RIDICULOUS!!!.... they wanted 280,000 RP for 4 batteries. (1 SGD = 5,000Rp), Ridiculous rite??? Jeez.... anyway managed to bought some at the price of 20,000Rp at another location, some holy place. At this holy place, they are damn smart, force us to exit the place thru the market place, where every shop sells the same things, they say the same things, and it is so damn noisy!!...(I seriously think i'm allergic to sharp pitches.....) worse... they pulled you into their shop to make u see their stuffs.

The time was about 4plus after visiting all these places, had to rush back to the hotel for some dinner that was a MUST for all to attend. Went back to hotel to shower and went headed for the dinner. Didnt taste very nice too..... (i seriously think the hotel food suckz big time!!) anyway it was free, so bear with it. After dinner, it was more alcohol..... 2 straight nights with alcohol..... they went out for more, but I decide to do some catching up with my colleague at the lounge before ending the night. (Going to stay away from alcohol for some time)

    29May :
4.45am, woke up to watch the sun rise. The wind was freezing cold, just with my t-shirt and short, went to the beach, fed the mosquitos for an hour before catching some glimpse of the sun rays however the sun was blocked by the clouds. Kinda disappointed but nothing much i can do, so we went for breakfast and chatted there for about an hour before i head back to my room to sleep. :P

Woke up around 11am, packed up all my things and prepared for checking out. As we still have some time after we checked out of the hotel, we went off to another beach ; Sanur beach, which was more quiet and looked like it was for the locals to hang out. Nothing to buy again, ended up sitting at some drink store chatting with Pohling, while waiting for the rest.

6pm, I was on my way to the airport, to my horror, i lost my ring.... I told Pohling that i lost my ring, first thing she said.... (good.... always wear on the wrong finger, lost oso good.....) :P by 11pm i was already back in Singapore, bought a bottle of Vodka then headed home.........

I'll be away for 3days. Going to Bali with my coy. Hopefully can enjoy myself and not staying at the hotel recovering.

The attack of the Cough Virus......

I am having sleeping disorder!!!!... this is crapz...... Work till 11pm yesterday, supposed to start work at 2pm but decided to come office early to settle some product testing. Set my alarm clock at 7am but 3am i was still awake. 7am, the alarm rang!!!!.... just couldn't wake up, switch off my alarm clock and went back to sleep. 9.30am, sprung out of my bed and start preparing for work.

Managed to reach office at 11am, whole day was involved in testing.... sending live orders to the exchange.... stress........ finished with 6 Exchanges..... long list of problems found..... tomolo got another 5 more to go....... hopefully things will go well......
insufficient sleep + insufficient rest + bad weather = Attack on the Immune system.

Felt abit of body-ache..... decided to pop a panadol to prevent it from going worse..... later got to down some cough syrup to stop the cough from going bad to worse...... Damn... what the hell is going on..... this year the body immunity have been really bad......

    Zouk : Godskitchen

Reached Zouk with Jaz, Beng and Tk. It looked like a ghost town, totally not like some Godskitchen event that was going to happen.

Anyway, the rest of the gang start to arrive and got our Happy Hour entry. Started a few drinks at Winebar before heading in to Zouk, our usual spot. Talked to the ladies about weights and their treatment from their boyfriends.... anyway i never critise any ladies about their weights except those that i hate. :P (Angelina, if you are reading this, you look fine, dun worry about your weight.)

I didnt drove, had a drank quite a lot and was a bit high already. I sat at a corner taking a rest but hanny spotted me and forced me with some drinks again. I had no idea what happened to beng as TK was tired and I had to work the next day. We went home early. Anyway i last saw him talking to some ladies. :P :P

    Vesak Day

Location : Orchard Road: The crowd and the heat is turing me away. The weather was terrible, it was hot, scorching hot. I had to keep drinking water to keep myself hydrated. Bought a long sleeve shirt at Takashimaya, had to choose a couple of choices that have my size. (Damn... i need to put up some weights.....) I was looking for bermuda but I just couldn't find any. Am i choosy or wat??? Maybe i'm just making sure the stuffs i buy is something I like but something that i buy and end up in some corner of my wardrobe. :P

Went down to PS again for my Bluetooth headset but out of stocks. Too bad, so I wanted to head for home but my friend called to go for dinner, so picked her up and decided to go Parkway for dinner. Dropped by Isetan but couldn't find the t-shirt i wanted. Went to Royal Sporting House to see if there is anything that i fancy, but nothing caught my eye. Ended up at YaKu for a cup of tea before heading for my dinner. Sent her back before rushing back to change to head down to Zouk.

    Happening Sat.....

Started the day late but insufficient sleep. Wanted to wake up late in the afternoon, thanks to my niece and parents, i woke up at 8am when i slept at 3am the previous day..... so i spend most of the day watching tv which i have not done for a long time. Kinda enjoy it again. :P

Went down to town for a walk, intended to buy a bluetooth headset at Motorola, but all staffs were engaged with their counter services, no staffs to entertain me. In the end, didn't buy. It was raining, so i took a slow walk down to Taka, but it was crowded like mad. Ended up in Kino, reading some books, but it was crowded too.

So many places were like having sales, but all woman stuffs... Had a telecommunication breakdown again, no incoming and outgoing sms, think it is some buttons i pressed. Finally got it up and running but was slightly paranoid if sms were coming in. (To all my friends, PLEASE CALL ME IF THERE IS URGENT MATTERS....)

Met the gang for Star Wars Ep III. I love it, half of the time, the Jedi Knights were fighting. Kinda sad when all the Jedi warriors were wiped out. Things were nicely pieced to join up with Ep IV. After the movies, we were hanging out at the carpark and we witnessed a quarrel between 2 drivers.

IMO, both drivers were at fault, the rear driver was following too close and the reversing driver should have checked if behind got cars. If they could have done this, the quarrel wouldn't have happened. Amazing, parking oso can quarrel...... dumb asses......

Went do to hougang to "pa" number, minor damage, -$3.25 :P. Long time didnt play until early morning. Ended the day at Atira, our usual prata shop.

Tonite going zouk for the celebration of Beng and Karen birthday. Think it going to be another 'gone' nite.

    Time flies........

Wow..... was showing Yang some pictures and happened to see some photos and i realised time really flies without you realising it. This is a photo taken last year during my company 20years anniversary. Splendid event, had a lot of fun, really a new experience i have gone through. Too bad i had a throat infection and was feeling abit feverish.

Those ppl below are from my support team. Great colleagues.

Star Wars Ep III : Revenge of the Sith

It is the end. The Saga have been completed. The first Star Wars movie started in 1977. (Probably my parent just got the news that i will emerge into this world.... :P ). First seen this movie as a young boy who dream will the future be like this? A young boy who is so fascinated with the effects of the future, the honour of being a Jedi Knight, going around in the galaxy exploring new frontier. (young boy, so always dreamz....)

Now it has come to an end. The series has ended and i can only get to watch it this sat. There were some bad comments about Ep I : The Phantom Menace and EP II : Attack of the Clones but I still love them.

Stay tuned for the review of Star Wars................ Can't wait to watch it!!!!.......

    Screwed up brain.....

First it was the sleeping pattern.... next it was my brain functionality.........

Have you ever encountered somethings i keep trying to remember, but you just couldn't remember a single thing. Somethings you keep trying to forget, but it just keep repeating in your head.

Weird rite??..... Any suggestions for me to forget things???..... If yes, please let know me, i'm eager to try it out....

    Are you biased????

To a certain extend, everyone is biased. Just depending how biased a person is. No matter how much the person willing to change or explains his/her actions, we will still see the person differently or negatively.

Same goes for me, when a person prejudice against someone, they only see the negative side of the person, unless the person did something drastically to change the initial impression, if not, ppl will always stereotype him.

Today i heard some nasty comments, that prompted me to write this post. The actions of the person struck me hard. It was really biased and hot tempered reaction, without hearing explanations, the comments were made in front of others. I felt sorry for the receiving party.

It showed me that i'm would be like him in the future. The biased opinion & the fury temper has to go. They must go..............

    EPL Ended

The season have ended.... For the next 13 weeks, there won't be much chances of watching soccer during the weekend.

My beloved Liverpool finished 5th in the table. I have forgotten when was the last time they have finished in the top 3. Despite a disappointing season, they still managed to reach the European Cup Final against AC Milan from Italy. I will be crossing my fingers on the 26 May. I hope this is something the Liverpool fans can cheer about.

I think next season will have some changes, especially some older players would be leaving and new players will arrive at the club. Next season would be a season to look forward too.

    Life is so fragile.......

Just 1 night. I saw 2 motorcyclist lying at the side of road due to accidents. Life is already very fragile, riding on motorbike make it even more fragile.

1st was on the CTE, was on my way sending my friend back to Sembawang. A lady motorcyclist was sitting by the side of the road, i think something happened. She looked weak.

2nd was on the PIE, was on my way having supper at our usual supper place @ Hougang. A motorcyclist was lying down on the road with a few other motorists trying to help him. (God bless you!!). A trailer and a Merc cab were there to help i think. I think there were involved.

It was a wet night, it was raining, it was not a heavy downpour but it was neither a drizzle. Any small mistake would be endanger lifes of such fragile motorcyclists.

    Punctuality is a Virtue

Punctuality is a virtue that no one really appreciate. Do you agree? I mean i can wait for a person for 10mins, 20mins... but 1 hour. This is really too much. I just dun get it.

Haiz, i guess i have to live with it.

    Friday E 13th @ Alley Bar

Busy day at work. The moment i step in office till the moment i left the office. I did not stop a single bit. Even my lunch time have been occupied with work. O_O! Finally 5pm, i just finished up whatever i have and left the office. Just want to get out of the place and enjoy my weekend.

Met up with an old old friend, someone whom i have not seen for 8yrs, recently just got back in touch. I realised most of my friends still look the same as before, i guess, onli minor changes either to the physical body or the character.

Went for dinner at Sakae Sushi. Didn't ate much though, becos I have to wait for her for an hour but since it was work den nevermind lah.

After dinner, took a walk down to AlleyBar, it is somewhere near Rouge. All i can say is, the place is a nice place to chill out and when i say chill out, i really mean chill out. Worth checking out the place again maybe on a Friday..... The place was filled with ladies, all kinds of ladies. Of cos, there were guys there too, but woooo..... the ladies were fine fine fine looking and of cos there were some who are scrapz..... :P :P

my friend and i sat by the bar and talked crapz the whole night.... Had a Stella and the frozen margaritas.... not too bad.... pretty cool.....

    Time to catch some ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz..................

    Colleagues or Friends????

Your colleagues is equal to your friend? Seriously i don't think so. My coy's culture is quite strange. The coy is like a puddle of sand, each dept is out to blame other dept when things goes wrong, worse, they gossip about any small things that they can discover. Maybe this is why i keep a distance from everyone.

Example 1: I was out lunching with my lunch buddy and when we were walking back to office, we were behind 2 ladies who were from our Customer Service dept and we spoken before due to work, but then yesterday we feel like strangers.

Strange right? I mean some of my coy colleagues are really "Hi / Bye" ppl. I don't social alot, i dun speak much and i dun have much friends here. Maybe a handful of them and 1 or 2 who are more close with me.

Firstly there is alot of political parties here, for me, i'm neutral, taking neither side. So maybe this in a way, ppl think i'm snobbish but i'm just a fun loving guy who talk crapz all the time. :P

    Screw up sleeping pattern.....

Last week i was on the New York shift... this week on Asia shift.... next week will be on London shift..... the pattern will change weekly...... the result of having this rotation : waking up in the middle of the night.

Out of a sudden, woke up in the middle of the night @ 2plus, after that, i had difficulties sleeping. Tried to sleep but the mind was like racing. Events after events flashed by. This has happened in the past before for countless times. Probably the side effects huh......

My biological clock have screw up big time. Every monday is the worse cos the body have to tune to a new sleeping time. Guess i have to get used to this pattern unless i change a new job. This would seriously affects my study schedule. Sound like i got to plan out my schedule according to my shift and follow it strictly or else i would have a hard time focusing......

    A Day @ the showrooms

Just not long ago, i myself were thinking of getting a car and were running around the different showroom. Today i was at Kia Motor showroom together with TK, Gary, Terence, David, Ivan and Seth. Seth test drove the Kia Picanto, quite a small car, the monthly installments for the car : $250. (very cheap!!!)

Anyway, hope he is able to fulfill his dream of owning a car of his own and join the Hock Lee Garage member. :P

    Onyx...... Not very happening!!!

Was at this club : Onyx. Location was @ One Fullerton where Centro used to be but the place wasn't even close to be like Centro. Reason why we went down is becos it was free entry. It was some sort of opening night for the club but somehow the area was like some quiet night. (Totally no ambience of an opening night for some club)

The parking were ex!!!... too ex!!!..... 5 bucks per entry!!!....... and worse of all, the carpark stinks like hell!!!..yuckz!!!......(someone better tell me where to park instead of One Fullerton) The music was alright after an hour, the crowd were pretty quiet, the drinks were fine, at first we thought there were free flow of drinks but we were wrong. So end up ordering some beers and some nice chatting with the usual gang except for Kev as he is currently preparing for his exam. (Good Luck Kevz!)

Ended off the night with a game of number and lost 1 bucks.

    Directions..... Directions.......

I have seem to lost my directions recently, not know where to go from my current position. I know I want to leave this coy due to some reasons but after speaking to my colleague, my mind kinda confused again.

As i was chit-chatting with 1 of my colleague whom i have not seen him for quite some time (6 months, i think). Had a good talk with him about the things had happened, about the current situation in the coy, what is going to happen in the next few months and years. He gave me some advices from his past experiences, some insights and thoughts of the current situations of the trading world which somehow in-line with my thoughts.

The electronic trading phenomenon will continue to cause some open outcry markets to switchs to electronic boards and more companies will set up trading aracdes for their high volumes clients where they can all use the facilities. With this facilities setting up, IT personnels equipped with trading knowledges will come in handy.

The conversation ended after an hour or so as we just came back from some disaster recovery exercises and were sleepy too. That left me some thinking to do after all the conversation.

(The nicotine is itching again......... )

    Determination 90%, Efficiency 50%, Concentration 50%

Finally i completed 12 Chapters of Book 1. I started on 10 Apr, and today is 7 May. That is 1 month, 4 weeks, 30days which give me an average of 3 chapters per week. This is too slow, this is not good enough. The pace must be faster than this, guess i have to bring it up to 5 chapters per week or even 6 chapters per week for the next book.

Next week, I shall start on Book2, 1 chapter per day. Got to focus, no matter what might come my direction again. Really hope i can achieve this certification.

Only with upgrades comes better wages, with better wages comes better spending powers, with better spending powers comes whole lots of better things...... With money, anything is possible. Anything..... this shall be my motivation.

    My workstation

    My workstation.

At times it can be quite messy, especially with all the files and papers all over the places. A bit small right and my table is actually meant for dealing purposes, so concept a bit open.

Last heard from my boss that we will be moving AGAIN!!!..... this will be the third time that we are moving. First was moving out from the dealing room to this room(different location). Then from the previous location moved to the current one. I wonder this time where will be we be located. We are some lost kids where we have to keep moving... keep moving....

Pic is rather small, will try again with larger resolution.

    Too bored at work.....

Now the markets have closed. Majority are closed except for 1. This is the most quiet timing and of cos, the most sleepy timing. Anyway, the next shift should be stepping in in the next 1hour. At least, i have my mp3 and the Internet to keep myself occupied. So i came across something while i was reading some magazines.

    Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22):
Of all the world's landlocked countries, only one maintains a navy: Bolivia. Until 1879, it had a seaport, but lost it in a war with Chile. Over a century later, it has thousands of sailors but only a single seaworthy ship, which it keeps docked in Argentina 1,000 miles away. Its quixotic fixity of purpose seems to be a symbolic declaration that it intends to someday once again have land bordering the ocean. I see a certain resemblance between Bolivia and you right now, Virgo. You also cling fiercely to a starry-eye commitment that might appear unrealistic to casual observers. The difference is that your dream, as opposed to Bolivia's, is not entirely hopeless.

Where the hell is Bolivia? South America? I guess so, where Brazil, Chile and Argentina is. Whatever that i'm clinging on is totally hopeless. No doubt about it. This narrator is just trying his luck to be accurate. *Yawn*

    Moto V3 RAZR

After 2 days of using my new phone, 1 word to describe. SSSWWWEEETTTT!!!!. I just like my new phone. Nothing really spectacular about it, other than the thickness of the phone. (About 5 x 20cents coins stacked up) I always wanted a flip phone, although i do find it troublesome sometime where i have to flip it open to use it, i still like it. :D

The memory (5MB) is rather small in my opinion. I have to crop the mp3 in order not to waste memory space, which i think it is logical cause who would leave their phone ringing until the it finished playing right. Unless the person is trying to show off his ringtones which is so lame.

The resolution is so sharp, contrast is so clear! The camera i have not really played with it but judging from Replica's pics, they look pretty alright to me anyway the purpose of buying this phone is not the camera. :D

    What to do in Bali???

Personally i have not been to Bali but i will be going this month on the 27th and coming back on the 30th. I wonder what to do there? I heard ppl go there to surf, but i know shit about surfing.

    Anyone been there? Any suggestions?

    Conspiracy in action........

First SMRT applied for an increase in the train fares. Now SBS Transit also applied for an increase for their bus and mrt fare. 'MONKEYs SEE MONKEYs DO'.......... @#$%&%*(). This is ridiculous. This 2 coys have been reporting profits yet they still intend to increase the prices. What on earth are they thinking? What kind of reasons would they give this time? If i'm not wrong, cab fares would be increasing too. Everything under the sun is increasing, 1 thing always slow in increasing: - Our Pay Cheque!!!....

    WOOOOOOOo!!!!!..................

LIVERPOOL IS THRU TO THE CHAMPION LEAGUE FINAL!!!!!...........

    Final score : Liverpool 1 - 0 Chelsea

    Another Meaningful song.....

    REPEAT**

I'm really happy today becos I got myself a new toy!!!..... After weeks of sulking with what had happened, I seriously need to get on with everything. So i started with geting something to make myself happy which I really am.

Here is 1 pic i took from the Internet. My phone is currently charging the battery. :D

I just had a conversation which turn out quite well and I am pretty sure that things will head towards my intended direction.

Thanks to all my friends who stood by me this few weeks, especially Seth and those who spoke to me. It is time that i get up and get going. Some good news in the near future but yet to be confirmed, once officially announced i would share it with you guys. Time to party again. :P

    Changes to my little blog.....

Started in the night shift today, was told that some major changes on my desk but no announcements were made......

Wanted to study but received some disturbing calls. Really disturbing. I guess something are still fresh in my mind and wounds are once opened up again.

So totally no mood to do anything, i did some changes to the blog, added some music : Eric Clapton's Tear In Heaven. I love this song, although this is not sang by the original singer but this is good enough. Had been listening to music that calm my mind, things have been going pretty well until lately things start to rough out again. Feel like going somewhere where no one can find me, no disturbances from unneccessary media, some peaceful places where my mind can take a good rest..... don't think it is possible......

    Found something on the Internet

    Found this song very meaningful.....

Steve Lawler & Roger Sanchez @ Zouk

Yes. Another night at the club: Zouk. i'm seriously drained out and tired. I think this really have to cut down. Since Seth will be working on Friday night, this is probably the last weekend for him to club on Friday but that would give him more reasons to club on Saturday...... O_o"

Well, at least the music was good, especially Roger Sanchez's set. He almost brought the whole house down...... I was pretty awake and drank minimum alcohol as there were rumours that Traffic Police were on a island wide operation, so i got to restrain myself from drinking so much but in the end, we didn't encounter any road blocks.

After that, went to Tiong Bahru market but it was closed. So end up at some "yong tau hu" shop for some foods and drinks. Pretty cheap though. 2bucks. Had some discussions on some friend's habit!!!

BBQ Invitation @ Hock Ki Garage.....

An invitation by Gary's sister for a BBQ @ Gary's place. Met up with Seth, Beng, TK and Brandon @ Hougang for a game of 'number' and after that we headed down to Gary's place. Supposed to reach @ 6pm, but in the end we were late for 30mins, and we were still the first among our group to reach.

This is the OSIM's I'Desire full body massage chair. 2 different reactions we have here. Brandon look like he is on some electrical chair and Apes look like she is falling asleep in it.

Our mr seth ong, trying to be like Cyclop, with an Eye Massaging machine!!!..... hahaha....

Now i'm in a great dilemma. Motorola V3 Razor or Sony Ecrisson K700i?

P.S. Mr Tick, your photo taking skills are ridiculously awful! Not a single pictures taken by you is clear. Maybe you should stop 'jacking' yourself and keep those hands steady.
