    New start....

A fresh new start. Stepped into office @ 0645 in the morning, surprisingly many were already there. Chaotic morning..... Last minute cock-ups here and there.... more or less expected from a major shifting of 2 offices. The phones were ringing all day, and the worse is the ringtone, it is so loud and deafening...... saw a few ex-colleagues. Never will i expect to see them again.

Still trying to get used to the new environment, the office is quite nice... there is quite a nice view, the pantry is always filled with cans drinks (Cokes, Ice Cream Sodas....), Yeo packet drinks and mineral water (Ice Mountains)... that comes with a rule, food can onli be consumed in the pantry... that's mean no more eating on our own desk if you are going to lunch-in. Well, that gives us a reason to hang around the pantry.... heehee.... anyway i just go there for my daily dose of coffee... so doesn't concern me too much... :)

Smoking were a hassle too, have to take the lift down to the main lobby. Maybe i should quit smoking.... Lunch took a change. Changed of location and i think there are lot more variety of food at this new location. There are Hong Lim Hawker Centre, Golden Shoe Food Centre and those coffeeshops along the street behind Boat Quay. The only bad point about this place is, it is a bit far from the Raffles MRT station compared to Temasek Tower where it is so easily accessible to Tanjong Pagar MRT station.

Thinking of going for a short holiday in April or May, to either Hong Kong or Taiwan. Any takers??

    Judgement Day.....

A gloomy outlook outside the window. Suit the atmosphere found in the office. A total of 54 were axed. 54 known colleagues were axed. Some volunteered, some found it unexpected, some were delighted that they were axed, some who wish to be axed but unfortunately wasn't on the list. Tears were flowing, personal belongings packed. The joyful daily office are left with a small numbers of staffs. Just wished all those who are leaving all the best and may them be successful in the future.

One of them was handpicked by me to transfer to my team. She was axed. Was it my fault? Was it my dept head fault? or was it the one who started all these? Fortunately the integrity of my dept is still intact. Therefore, we had the least casualties. Some departments staffs were all axed except 1 or 2. I sympathize them, cos those who they have worked with for the past 5 years have all gone. Sigh.... This is something which hopefully in future, i will not experience this again. I will never forget a day like this.

Today is the last day that i will be working from this office. From Monday onwards, it will be a new environment, new start, new team. Hopefully a new job scope and a new monthly paycheck. :P

    Faded....

Another week to the new office. Lots of packing to do, time to empty the cupboard and the drawers. Situated not at the best location in some sense but i'm trying to see it in a positive way. Moving on the 25 Feb, another weekend to be spent in the office. Thinking back, for the past 2 saturdays, i can be found in the office. Burnt baby burnt!!!!... Since i'm single, so it's alright. Will post pictures of the new location. Nice building, hopefully nice office and new nice colleagues.

The group will be short of 2 person with yang and muscle leaving for aust again. No more hearing muscle's sexpidition. Haha... :P no more of yang's funny act, giving out money from the ATM machine. :P :P brandon is back in China again, hhmm... has he patched back yet?? :P

Time to rest.... Hell week coming up.

    It's a scam....

Once again it is valentine's day. A day where boy would give flowers to the girl, boy bring girl for dinner, boy bring girl for a walk, boy ***** girl at the end of the day???... haha.... :P minus the last statement... just trying to be funny.

I find it hilarious on my way home yesterday. There were more couples than usual on the train and some were having a bouquet of flowers, some were hugging onto their teddy bears... they looked very happy, giving each other a kiss at times..... i was laughing deep inside myself.... Suddenly all the bfs/gfs are so free to go dating on this 1 day... the rest of the 364 days... nothing special....

Dinner are exceptionally expensive, flowers demands never been higher; not to mention the price goes up 50% for 1 week and come down 75% the very next day..... so i concluded that St. Valentine was a florist..... times were bad and business were bad.... no one would concidentally buy flowers and bring their loved ones to dinner at the same day.... so he started this scam, together with all the restaurants' owners....... he started Valentine's Day.... hahaha.... :P :P so his business got better that very day. Sold off all his flowers.... :P :P

"Any day can be a Valentine's Day...." becos how i spent 1 day with my gf is not important, the more important issue here is how am i are going to spend the rest of your life with her. That is the more crucial point.

    * From a SINGLE's point of view. :D

    Zombie....

Sometimes do you felt like you are just an empty shell, just with some processes installed in your shell and everyday you would just execute the same command again and again? Cos that is what i'm feeling right now. An empty shell. Maybe my tank is empty after clearing majority of the work that have piled up on my desk. Maybe this is what they called a 'burned-out' effect.

Been reading on a book called the Introvert Advantage. That's right. The name said it all. I'm classified as an introvert, not to the extreme but still fall into that category. Now then I realised how come i like to do things in certain ways and think about things. Guess i'm borned with it.

This is rather interesting, cos people actually go and study other people. I guess that is the natural of a human, where we want to know everything and want to study everything.

I never loved reading but I didn't know when did i fall in love with it. Guess something does changed when you grow....

    Jaded....

This CNY is tiring than the rest that I have spent. Mahjong for successive weekend and most of them ended early in the morning..... Felt like i'm older for another few years....

Anyway, the losts are more than winning.... never believe in new year luck.... can't remember when was the last time i ever enjoying the new year luck.... maybe i do have it.... just that others are more luckier than me,... :P

Crapz.. felt like i'm falling sick soon..... time to drown myself with plain water for the next 1 week...
