Traits of a leader

• Honesty - Display sincerity, integrity, and candor in all your actions.
• Competent - Your actions should be based on reason and moral principles. Do not make decisions based on childlike emotional desires or feelings.
• Forward-looking Set goals and have a vision of the future. The vision must be owned throughout the organization. Effective leaders envision what they want and how to get it. They habitually pick priorities stemming from their basic values.
• Inspiring - Display confidence in all that you do. By showing endurance in mental, physical, and spiritual stamina, you will inspire others to reach for new heights.
  
• Intelligent - Read, study, and seek challenging assignments.
• Fair-minded - Show fair treatment to all people. Prejudice is the enemy of justice. Display empathy by being sensitive to the feelings, values, interests, and well-being of others.
• Broad-minded - Seek out diversity.
• Courageous - Have the perseverance to accomplish a goal, regardless of the seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Display a confident calmness when under stress.
• Straightforward - Use sound judgment to make a good decisions at the right time.
• Imaginative - Make timely and appropriate changes in your thinking, plans, and methods. Show creativity by thinking of new and better goals, ideas, and solutions to problems.
  

This is something that i would like to have. Hopefully i can achieve 1/2 of what on the list so that i can lead my team well.

Unfortunately, those leaders in MF do not have such traits. Really so unfortunate........

A new toy to replace my v3

Just got this phone to replace my V3. Sometimes I just felt my v3 was pushed to the limit for my usage. Officially, my v3 have been passed on to my mom so that she can take my nephew pics. :P :P

Actually wanted to get the Samsung z400 which was going for 88bucks... and this phone it was going at $468..... but when i made up my mind, the salesperson told me "Oh, you actually have a $100 voucher from M1".... Den it made me reconsider my choice. Cos with of the following

1. subscription of value added service, there is a deduction of $50.
2. my $100 voucher.
3. A rebate of $60 from my M1 Platinum Card when i purchase a 3G phone.
4. $35 cash bonus earned from my credit card

So total savings was $245. So total i spent $223. :)

The Phantom of the Opera

A date with the Phantom on 31 Mar, 2pm. Finger crossed that nothing clashes with this... or else.... things probably going to get nasty.......

Just as yesterday night I was rushing back home to get the car and rush back to office. Seem to me I'm always rushing here... rushing there..... damn i hate this. I used to ask myself, why the hell does the morning crowd seem to be on a fast pace. .... after joining the workforce for 4 yrs. I finally understood.... so that in office, it will look natural that they are busy.

Starting to pick the pace at work.....Sometimes I just wish I could leave this place for another better place..... but it is not that this place is really fark up.... but I just want to see how big is this world.... there is so much to learn.. .and I'm here already for 4yrs.... Everyday I just tell myself.... Time is not up for you yet.... Patience, you must have...... my young padawan...

Look like I'm slacking on my entries recently. Well, Chinese New Year is coming to an end. Total P & L..... +10..... this is considered a good yr already, taking past years into account.... Just went for a boat trip last Sunday, end result - First Degree Burnt..... damn.... at this moment, my back itch like fark..... the skins are flaking everywhere...... the whole back is peeling like nobody business......
