The title says it all. This was probably the last dinner under the name of REFCO. Cos since we have been bought over by Man Group PLC, the Singapore company will be merging with Man Financial (SG). The merger is currently undergoing which will be completed by the 6 Dec.
So whether do I find myself on the chopping board, still another question yet to be answered and guess what, we are going to move AGAIN.... this time, it is going to be a very major shifting.
Why there is a sudden merger... well... all becos of greed, i think. Maybe he has his reasons for all these... but no one will ever know but what he has done, has affected 2400 worldwide. Heard that those in London and US were far worse than in Asia.
The dinner was great, got lobsters, crabs, sharkfins (1 pot per person), Peking duck, butter prawns.... the list goes on.... A wonderful bunch of ppls when it comes to drinking, they are lot more crazy and tougher than my usual gang. I think we finished 30 over bottles of wines (Red&White), a few jugs of beers. Their standards is too high for me, i confirm will lay flat. We were so rowdy in the restuarant, think we were already blacklisted by them.
The 2nd generation batch with my boss. Almost all the pioneer batch have left and now it is left with both of us.
After a week of work, it was time for a break. The gang except TK n Hanny had a day-off from their 'COs', so practically everyone cherished their precious off day.... haha.... for me... EVERYDAY is an OFF DAY!!!!... ;P
Agenda for the day was CarPolishing at the Garage, CS gaming and Zouk. 1. CarPolishing is really a tedious job. Hanny this cock, started off brightly and 30mins later, he was like standing 1 corner smoking with only the bonnet done. Haha.....
2. CS gaming, supposed to play at Katong but damn... the waiting list was like soooooo llllloooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg..... ended up in Parklane. 2 good hours of old school fun.
3. Zouk was great..... as usual. The knights of the flamos each had 1.... haha... and not to mentions the EEEEE.....33. Please dun get the wrong idea.. I mean e33... wonderful combination that cost us a trip up to JB for supper. Yes, u heard me correctly, went in to JB just for wanton mee..... haha.... for more details. please click here.
Came back early in the morning and spent the whole of Sunday sleeping. It seems to me, my old lifestyle is back.... party hard on Sat den sleep e whole of Sunday. SONG!!!....... the advantages of not having a CO. :P :P
I just reached office and something really weird happened to my mailbox. I just cleared them yesterday and i'm really sure that there was sufficient space and the weird thing is the oversize notice were sent to me again.
In the end, i realised some dumbass sent me 2 emails that is 6MB each.... I'm just amazed by that someone..... how can one be so DUMB!!!! not to mention the position she holds.....
Harlo!!!!.... my coy email is not for receiving huge files, it is for me to work. Huge files send it to my hotmail account. I'm fine with emails which we crapz alot but not emails which is so f******* huge. Damn it, use ur f******* brains.

When this 2 power house fight each other..... man... it's really bad.... :P Had a cup of coffee in the evening was a bad idea..... but having some beers later in the night turned out to be even worse. Haha...... The body was trying to sleep but the mind was clearly awaked.... Tossed and turned for a few hours.... before getting some sleep..... even so.... i didn't felt like i was sleeping.....
*yawn*.......... finally completed the 24 series.... season 1 - 1 week season 2 - 3 weeks season 3 - 5 days season 4 - 1.5 days
Season 1 - 3 was just very average plot... Season 4 is the ultimate..... surprises all over....
Here I am, stranded and left hanging in the air. Buyer found, yet uncertainties and mystifying journey lies ahead of me. Fears I see in the eyes, too much at stake. The new owner will come and give his words. The waiting games goes on.

The weather have been errantic recently. It can be scorching in the morning, and suddenly it can be raining mercilessly, and seriously i hate to drive in such conditions. Perhaps, it is due to my 2 unfortunate accidents that occurred during rainy days or my vision at night have been deteriorating. Sometimes, my vision just blurred up while driving in such conditions....... *sigh*.... maybe i'm just getting old....
Perhaps, i need a pair of glasses. The last time my eyes were examined, it was abt 3yrs. Hhhmmm, hopefully i don't need any glasses.... prolong staring at my LCD could be 1 of the reason too.
Just got back my car today and i already felt the difference between a 2L and a 1.5L. The difference is really noticeable. So i got a new bumper, a new boot lid, a new reverse sensor (kinda loud...time to go hocklee and tune it).... the back look really new.... Took the speedo of both car... :P
The Toyota Camry was stable, long and comfortable. But definitely not a ride for my age. Looked more like i was driving my dad' car. The fuel consumption is relatively higher than my current ride but i heard it is still lower than Nissan Sunny. :P
Subaru Legacy..... wooowww.... It is a fun car to drive.... really fun. I had it for a couple of hours on Tuesday before returning it back to my brother. The interior was nice, really nice, the car handling was good. Except 1 point, it is hell of a noisy car, due to the safety features, the reverse sensor, the driver seatbelt.....
Till then, i shall be contented with my 1.5L Toyota Vios. :)
This is a short week.... with 2 public holidays smacked right in between the middle of the week. Tuesday and Thursday. Therefore alot break in between.... Last sat was at the renovated Zouk. Pretty much like Zouk : KL from outside. On the inside, noticed a few changes....
1. Inside Zouk had some minor changes, the extension of the members bar, the removal of the basin areas for both toilet and added a new common basin outside the 2 toilets, add some new sound systems, the dance floor is smaller now.
2. Phuture undergo major changes, the bar counter was changed to the opposite location, installed a new LCD panel beside the dancefloor, and a small bar right at the end.
3. Velvet Underground. Minor changes too. Added a new bar at the other side and new decorations.
4. Winebar. I have not stepped into Winebar yet. Probably will check it out soon.... --------------------
Monday nite was Halloween, but none of the gang was in the mood for it, so most of us ended up at Ivan's house playing mahjong. 8 of us and 2 tables..... Maichiam some gambling den.... So unlucky was playing with the expert level table. End up losing 10+...... cheap school fees for mahjong lessons.... :P --------------------
Happy Deevapali on a Tuesday....... Met jas, tk and mel at Ampang Yong Tau Foo.... Lucky i didnt ate. It didnt really looked delicious and it was quite expensive.... haha..... Parkway was crowded, and since i had nothing to do, and was waiting for something to happen.... so followed them walking aimlessly at Parkway.
Had a simple dinner @ East Coast.... Didn't know that East Coast have some laidback relaxing pub to hang out.... not a bad idea to go there for a beer or 2..... :) --------------------
After a public holiday and going back to work is just like climbing a hill, especially when this week is filled with holiday. Intended to go Dempsey Rd for some drinks. However, most of us were kind of tied down with individual works and tasks, end up meeting quite late and they closed @ 12mn. So went to Beach Bar instead. Although the scenary wasn't really ideal but the feeling of sitting in a beach chair enjoying some wines were kinda good. Lucky to escape a parking fine. :) --------------------
Hari Raya Aidilfitri....... Public holiday again..... went to watch Cello.... cause didn't have much choice @ Tampines..... so we tot it was quite scary... end up it was just a mental problem woman who was carrying the guilt of causing the death of her good friend. Chey.... Tampines is always crowded with ppls, it is just like the gathering point for those living in the east. Bump into Gary and Angelina while having a drink @ The Cheesecake Cafe. :P --------------------
