Smoking Ban with Eff. on 1 Oct

The National Environment Agency (NEA) would like to remind the public that, starting on 1 Oct 2005, smoking will be banned in the following places:

a. bus interchanges/shelters;
b. public swimming complexes;
c. open-air stadium;
d. public toilets; and
e. community centres/clubs.

just in case some have didn't know about the smoking ban on the following places.... Next July will be coffeeshop, hawker centres and open air-restaurants..... A year after that will be entertainments outlets..... look like they are very serious about it..... O_O ... first time and each time will be fined $200SGD and no grace period given......

look like next time I will enjoy a smoke-free clubbing experiences..... :P :P
