Definition of Successful

How do u define success? What is the definition of successful? Do you need to hang out with successful ppls in order to be successful?

1. Does getting a pay cheque of 5K every month is considered successful?
2. Driving a BMW 6 Series, Living in a condo are considered successful?
3. Living the rest of your life with your loves ones considered successful?
4. Is achieving your goals in life considered successful too?

I think all the above is considered successful in some ways. Depending on what do you wish to achieved.

If you think again,
1. Every month 5K pay cheque, but you incurred a lot of debts from the Bank. Is this successful?
2. Drive a BMW, Living in a condo, but every month, all your earnings goes to pay the car and the condo. Successful?
3. Living with your loved ones but in a small house. Successful?
4. You achieved all your goals in life, but you realised that you are already 45yrs old and lonely. Successful?

I duno but sometime something on the surface look like they are successful, but in actual facts they are struggling with their life. Some look like they are struggling but in actual facts they are the ones who are successful. Which of the above do you choose? I choose the latter one.

- One does not need to show how successful he is, only those who know he himself know he is successful is enough. Afterall, he is the one who decide whether he is or not.
